The Morning Mind: Use Your Brain to Master Your Day and Supercharge Your Life
Your brain has more synaptic connections when you wake than when you go to sleep; this increases your creative potential.
To take advantage of your creative potential, do some writing in the morning, establishing the mind and body connection. It can slow down the brain’s aging process, promote happiness, reduce stress levels, and help you overcome trauma.
Try stimulating your creativity by, for example, writing about events that impact you emotionally; writing about someone you know; or describing everyday objects with an imaginative twist.
Overcome your resistance to writing by not accepting excuses, allowing your writing to be imperfect, preparing mentally for resistance, planning your creative sessions, and/or experimenting with different projects at the same time.
